Many of my friends and family in America are always e-mailing me about my life here in Japan, so I am going to try and keep this blog up-to-date as much as possible. In the past I have tried to use other blogging programs (i.e. Facebook and Myspace) but those both have seemed to lost their blogging roots, evolving more into online communities.
So check back here often, because I intend to keep a regular flow of updates.

- My favorite holliday is Halloween. I hate canned corn and cake frosting! I like to drink ice tea and Coke. I have a big soft spot for dogs, and old people. I've been parasailing and once met former President Jimmy Carter. I love to read books, play guitar, and watch Kung Foo movies. I am a strong Christian and try to keep a child-like faith. The only shoes I wear are Chuck Taylors, and the only jeans I wear are Levi. I am originally from Texas, but I now live in Japan and teach English as a second language. I have also been to Mexico a few times. I like the smell of Fruit Loops and I don't know how to do laundry correctly.
